The thing that makes you say, "I want to do something" - that is the beginning of talent.
Founded by Esta Charkham and led by Dan Caren, WLDT has a regular team of theatre professionals to shape, support and inspire all students.
What we offer
Each Saturday, you’ll be led by trained theatre professionals using script, song and movement to grow confidence in a fun, collaborative environment.
Our values
Every child has talent – and we enjoy bringing this out. Creative imagination is at the heart of all we do, with classes in drama, singing, and movement we see the whole person, not just the head. Everyone contributes, building new and lasting friendships and all this with maximum fun, exciting activities and company spirit.

What people are saying
“WLDT is the place. I think I’ve met the most kindest, unique people here. My confidence came from here. My acting skill of “stillness” came from here. No matter where you end up in life, you won’t regret attending WLDT.”
— Eunice, Alumni. 2nd Year Rose Bruford Drama School Student
“WLDT is a fantastic space for young people to be themselves. It is somewhere I always visit when searching for natural talent. Suggestions for projects are always relevant, showcasing how well Sam and his team know the young people they teach. Children are always fully prepared for auditions which clearly stems from the high level of training they receive from industry professionals. Sam has an amazing understanding and knowledge of the industry which combined with his passion for working with young people makes WLDT a joy to work with."
— Verity Naughton , Casting Director
“My 2 girls have been with Esta and her fabulous team for over 7 years and have loved every minute. WLDT not only gives them great experience in acting, singing and dancing but has also introduced them to new life long friends. They can’t wait for Saturday mornings. I can’t recommend WLDT high enough.”
